1.Is ServiceDock GDPR compliant?
Yes. ServiceDock is GDPR compliant. One of the advantages of being founded when the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) was already on the agenda is that we have built the company with GDPR in mind. We are compliant by design. For example, GDPR has been a key decision factor when selecting technology partners and that is why our data is stored on Microsoft Azure servers. We have already completed numerous data security audits for large enterprises and are happy to do so again.
2.Can ServiceDock customers use our product without risking a breach of the GDPR?
Yes. As a data processor for your customer data, we help you comply with requirements including capturing customer permissions, meeting security requirements, delivering Subject Access Requests and acting appropriately in the unlikely event of a breach. Prior to going live with the ServiceDock platform, we will enter into an appropriate Data Processor Agreement with your organisation. To avoid creating any issues while using ServiceDock, team members who are granted access should receive appropriate training in relation to GDPR.
3.What is the GDPR?
The EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) replaces the Data Protection Directive 95/46/EC and is designed to harmonize data privacy laws across Europe, to protect and empower all EU citizens data privacy and to reshape the way organizations across the region approach data privacy.
